Here’s a little more information on how we will help you:

 

Personal Virtual Tours:

  • Provide you instructions on uploading your listings’ pictures to be included in the tour. (You will need to provide the order in which you want the pictures to appear in the tour).
  • Download, organize and process the pictures to be included in the tour.
  • Assist you via telephone to download, install and configure Skype** on your computer. Skype is a free Internet telephone service that provides far superior audio quality than a standard telephone line. If you prefer, we can provide or recommend an audio recorder and microphone to use for recording audio. We will also provide instructions for sending us the audio file.
  • Either provide or instruct you where to obtain a quality USB headset to use when recording your narration.
  • Record your narration.
  • Edit the recorded audio.
  • Produce your Flash formated Personal Virtual Tour with your pictures, voice narration and background music. Other common online video formats are also available.
  • Make your Tour available for you to download or send it to our hosting site (optional).
  • Send you an email letting you know your tour is available for download or the link to your Tour on our hosting site.
  • Submit your Tour to YouTube and Postlets (optional).

If you also obtain an optional blog from us for hosting your Personal Virtual Tours and podcasts we can also provide these optional services:

  • Send your Tour to your blog.
  • Write a post that includes a link to your Tour and your MLS description of the listing.
  • Verify your new Tour is available on iTunes.
  • Send you an email when the new Tour is posted.

Podcast Setup:

  • Assist you via telephone to download, install and configure Skype** on your computer. Skype is a free Internet telephone service that provides far superior audio quality than a standard telephone line.
  • Either provide or instruct you where to obtain a quality USB headset to use when recording your podcasts.

Podcast Recording and production:

  • Call you using Skype** to record your podcast audio. All you have to do is talk; we take care of the all recording details. If you prefer, we can provide or recommend an audio recorder and microphone to use for recording audio. We will also provide instructions for sending us the audio file.
  • Edit your audio to remove ums and ahs.
  • Add introductory and closing music.
  • Provide a voice over introduction and copyright notice if you desire.
  • Process and create your podcast audio file.
  • Send you an email letting you know your podcast episode audio file is available for download.

If you also obtain an optional blog from us for hosting your podcasts and Personal Virtual Tours we can also provide these optional services:

  • Send your podcast episode to your blog.
  • Write and post a short text message on your blog describing the contents of the podcast episode.
  • Verify your new podcast episode is available on iTunes.
  • Send you an email when the new episode is posted.

Blog:

  • Obtain an available domain name of your choice (web site address i.e. www.yourname.com) that you own.
  • Obtain a hosting provider* where your blog will be hosted on the Internet. The hosting account will be set up in your name.
  • Install and configure Wordpress blog software. Wordpress is one of the most popular blogging platforms in use.
  • Submit your blog to popular search engines.
  • Submit your blog to blog/podcast directories.
  • Provide you a user name and password for you to post blog entries.


*Using the Powweb.com hosting service.
**Skype requires a broadband high speed Internet connection; i.e. DSL, cable.
**Some firewall/network security configurations may require assistance from your IT staff.
